SHAPE, FLAVOUR, DECORATION STYLE

~ I can make round, square, sheet, heart, oval or dome shaped cakes. All of my cakes are vegan, always.

~ You can see the cake flavours I currently offer below and some pictures of my cake designs (more on my socials @unitbakery). Flavours change seasonally and with whatever food pairing inspires me at a given time.

~ Prices are calculated on the cost of the ingredients and anything extra you require (flowers, edible gold, etc.) coupled with the time it takes me to make and decorate your chosen cake. For example, cakes with pastry and diplomat cream, pistachio praline  or vintage styled cakes cost more due to the extra time it takes to make/decorate them as well as the price of ingredients. 

INFORMATION ON ALLERGENS

~ I don`t use any animal products or by-products in my kitchen (I myself am vegan for 11 years), however, some bought-in products I use have "may contain" warnings. For a low-gluten cake (I can`t claim "gluten-free"), please ask my advice

~ I handle tree nuts, peanuts, gluten, soya, mustard, celery, sesame and sulphites in my kitchen and for this reason, I cannot guarantee any product will be 100% free from allergens. Extra care is taken to avoid cross contamination.

~ Most of my flowers come from my catering suppliers, from The Flower Ranger in Kirkcaldy and Bellhouse Bloom in Aberdour. Some are edible, some are just decorative but they are never toxic. Decorative flower stems are wrapped in food safe tape. 

~ My specialty is Italian meringue buttercream cakes and I work within my own style. I do not have experience in themed cakes and do not take orders for them. You can add cake toppers to your cake (or I can add miniature toys to it, really just a couple to make them look fun but still sophisticated).

~ I require either a 50% deposit (and the remaining balance to be paid upon collection) or full payment upfront

~ Your booking is not made until receipt of payment and confirmation is sent

​Hojicha is a type of roasted Japanese green tea. Earthy and nutty with mild toasty and caramelised notes. Pairs beautifully with desserts, truly truly unique!

As flavours are an important part of my business, please note that a cake must have at least 3 flavour components.

I recommend collecting the cake on the day you plan to serve it if you chose fresh flower or fruit as a decoration style, as they tend to wilt quickly.
